Taiwanese Association of Madison (TAM)

Dragon Boat Festival Potluck

Thanks for all the people joining the party at Elver Park on Sat., June 3rd 2006. I hope people had fun and had an opportunity to get to know more with other members. We had a nice group about 55 people.

The weather is very nice. It is wonderful that Eyleen Chou and her teammates from UW Frisbee team to show us how to throw and catch a Frisbee. It seems that a lot of members are having fun with Frisbee in no time. One thing is we did not get a chance to organize a competition. Maybe we can have one at our next gathering. Again, we thank them for introducing us to this sport.

Food is wonderful. With lots of variety and generous portion, I am pretty sure people are stuffed with good food. ?gChung-Tze?h are very delicious and thanks to Michelle and friends for purchasing and steamed them.

The water balloon fights are a highlight for the younger generation. I was happy it worked out well and they had fun. We did not get a chance to do the crafts (sun visor or balloon art) for little kids but will save them for next time.

Daphne Tsao gave us a treat by playing violin for us. She is pretty amazing. She has agreed to perform again at our next gathering. Maybe Albert and Jenny can sing when she performs next time.

These are the pictures taken from the event:
